Abstract:
The physical design of an operation should have provided the fixed resources which
are capable of satisfying customers’ demands. Planning and control is concerned
with operating those resources on a day-to-day basis and ensuring availability of
materials and other variable resources in order to supply the goods and services
which fulfil customers’ demands.
Description:

and control is concerned with managing the ongoing activities of the operation so as to satisfy customer
demand
