Abstract:
The law of evidence plays a key role in the administration of justice. The assertion of substantive rights can only be established by evidence which makes the law of evidence occupy a pivotal role in the effective functioning of the criminal justice system. A mastery, therefore, of the principles and rules of the law of evidence becomes indispensable for everyone associated with this branch of law.
